Haha yes I'm aware. That was just in response to Dan's 11-5 projection for them.

I see them more like 6-10, 7-9. Matt Millen can draft all the WRs he wants to cover up the mistake he made taking Harrington but the guy still won't be any good and the Lions still won't have a DEFENSE.

dan- i strongly agree with you on the lions over 8.5. this team is vastly improved and the only problem area could be at quarterback. harrington is a complete pussy but i believe garcia still has something left and will be starting by week 5. the lions were absolutely killed by injuries last season. going into camp everyine seems to be healthy plus they have added some solid players in kennedy, mcquarters, johnson, m williams, cody, etc. also, the division is down this year with minnesota being the only real threat to win it besides detroit. i'm playing this one along with buffalo under 8.5 good luck to you and everyone else!

LOOKING for SAN DIEGO to be in the playoffs for sure. possibly the champ. game. I PICK the SURPRISE of the season to be detroit lions

Another reason I don't like the Lions chances: in the NFL the "Surprise Team of the Season" is NEVER the team that everyone is hyping as a sleeper in the pre-season.

Was anyone suggesting we take Chargers Over last August?

This is an interesting future bet i found. I guess people think the chargers are going to be pretty bad this year.
