wow dan what are you smokin?KC at 6-10 sorry pal but you are way off and it was their secondary last year that hurt them not the pass rush.so if you want to save your money on any of them you better change your mind about the chiefs cause they will win the afc west.

sustain love the chargers too this year. I think they have what it takes to take it all. Wade Phillips is a great d coordinator and that offense is gonna be as good as any in the nfl. Plus they are gonna terrorize teams in the redzone with brees, gates, and tomlinson. 30-1 on pinnacle my money is on San Diego SUPER CHARGERS for a GRRRRRR. 30 g's if that shit hits.

anytime they have harrington as their qb, they will not win many games. they need to get rid of him. he is terrible. the wide recievers are not that bad either. defense is pretty good, but i would still give them another year atleast. i think at best record of 9-7

9 wins might be a little much, or is it? I would not touch it but I will say. Let J. Harrington go 1 and 3 and J. Garcia will be in there faster than B. Sanders breaking away for a TD.

I think Harrington is on a real short leash season. Garcia knows the offense and as you said the WR's are, or can be pretty damm good. The D looks too be better, and the running game came on late last season.

IMO outside of Minnesota the rest of the division is up in the air, but I would give the leg up to the Lions. Than the BEARS, than the Pack (Sorry Moondoog). I think the Pack lost too much this offseason, and I think the Bears WR are going to be weak. The Lions have a real good shot to be a good team and maybe a playoff team this season.

do you not understand if you do not have a good pass rush teams will fire away all the time...thats what teams did I didnt take anything away from their bad secondary they were bad also but believe me if they would have pressured the QB more the passes wouldnt havent even been off

The chiefs also have one of the toughest schedules vs. good run defenses and with holmes not being fully 100% it wont be easy to run making their offense having to pass but with weak receivers

                  IN MY OPINION:
this is how i see it...
                  Week: 1 (Jets)W
                  2 (@ Oakland) L
                  3 (@ Denver) L
                  4 (Philadelphia) L
                  5 (Washington) W
                  6 (@ Miami) L
                  7 (@ San Diego) L
                  8 (Oakland) W
                  9 (@ Buffalo) L
                  10 (@ Houston) W
                  11 (New England) L
                  12 (Denver) W
                  13 (@ Dallas) L
                  14 (@ Giants) L
                  15 ( San Diego) W
                  16 (Cincinnatti) L

A lot of those games are toss up IE: Cincin. at home..at Miami but again IN MY OPINION i just dont feel this team is strong enough

Chargers were VERY sound statistically last season...one of the top 4 teams in NFL...no fluke...

CLEVELAND BROWNS UNDER 4.5 WINS +120 (I like it, i think a 4 Win season might be considered a good one. On the other hand a new coach like the one they have can bring much needed confidence and 5-11 isn't ever out of reach. Tough call with such a low number.)

This team is just as bad as last year...their defense even got worse dropping griffith and rudd..their running game is still dismal even with lee suggs...pool and perkins at DB have speed but are young and wont be able to defend against vet receivers theyll be facing..Charlie Frye is not horrible he does have SOME running game but this guy has never played a big D team..edwards was a great pick i think he has potential but until the browns find an o line to block for frye to even attempt a pass to edwards then ill be persuaded..until then the browns will go IN MY OPINION>>>
2-14...winning at houston on oct 30 and beating jacksonville at home on dec 4..

DETROIT LIONS OVER 8.5 WINS -114 (Harrington scares the hell out of me. On paper this should be a winner. I think Kevin Jones health will decide this one for you IMO.)

Every aspect of this team when i look at the roster on paper makes me just think of how good theyll be in 2005...the offense alone is enough to make a defensive back shake Mike Williams/Roy Williams/Charles Rogers/Kevin Johnson...not to mention they have probably the best young runner around in Kevin Jones...from what Ive heard about harrington from inside camp scoops, is he looks like another guy he is solid and more confident then ever...the lions D fense has upgraded well also...keeping dre bly they also acquired shaun cody and stanley wilson two top notch young defenders..my favorite of their defensive pickups is kennoy kennedy he is a hard hitting safety thats likely to make tons of breakout plays..Marcus Pollard was a great addition to their already potent offense..
This is why i think the lions IN MY OPINION finish 11-5

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS UNDER 8.5 WINS +162 (Tough Call ... 8, 9, or 10 Wins is very possible with just a tiny bit of defense.)

I know what your thinking...BUT THEY GOT SURTAIN??...still their problem wasnt much of the secondary..it was their pass rush and derrick johnson was a BAD BAD pick for them...with player left like erasmus james they chose a guy who doesnt do well pass rushing..they got kendrell bell who will assist johnson in defending the middle and tight ends..but the defense of the AFC West teams just got better while this team still lacks in defense..their offense is still hurting with priest not quite 100%...this is why i think IN MY OPINION the chiefs finish 6-10

NEW YORK JETS UNDER 9.5 -152 (Again, Tough call. I think 9 or 10 Wins is about right. With that said this number looks perfect to me.)

This team is as bad as it was last year and losing lamont jordan makes it worse..no explantation needed this team will finish 6-10 in my opinion

PITTSBURGH STEELERS OVER 9.5 WINS -140 (The Bus is a year older. Can Duce stay healthy? Can Ben repeat that performance? What's going on at the WR position? Lots of ? marks for me here. They should win 10 but when you play alot of tight games it can turn on you quick!)

This is a steal really...Plaxico was not a huge loss for this team as everyone thinks..they got the biggest acquistion a team could get in a solid TE with hands..to me kendrell bell was their biggest loss but they have very good backups and picked up bryant mcfadden a solid corner.
In My opinion they finish 12-4

SAN DIEGO CHARGERS OVER 8 WINS -118************* (To be truthful. I wouldn't be shocked if they didn't make the playoffs. I think they go 8-8 or 9-7 and they are one twisted ankle by Tomlinson away from 7-9 or 6-10. I don't think they have enough depth and i'm not sold still on Brees. With that said, they could very easily get 9 wins if a healthy team shows up each week.)

This is by far my favorite future I have ever seen..to me on paper this is the best team coming in to the up and coming season..Ladanian Tomlinson will hit 2000 yards you heard it here first folks HE WILL DO IT...they upgraded their o line with wesley brit, wes sims, and scott mcruszkowski...antonio gates has gained about 15 more pounds and not only is it in muscle making him more scary to the D but he has learned to block like a champ..vincent jackson was a HUGE acquistion he is a big target and is ready to catch drew brees' bullets..they got a solid 3rd down back in darren sproles..THE DEFENSE is WOW they probably had the greatest two pickups you could get in this years draft on the defensive side...Shawn Merriman(in my opinion the best pass rushing LB that was available) and Luis Castillo and big DT who will crush any o lines dreams...I really feel strong this is a chargers year..In my opinion they finish with top record 13-3..I know you look at their schedule and say no way but think about it this team has every intangible needed to win (Quarterback/RB/FB/O LINE/ TE/ KICKER/DEFENSE/AND SPECIAL TEAMS)

hope you all actually read this good luck and thanks for your opinions

You said thanks for opinions and i gave you mine. Good, Bad, or indifferent i wish you luck. I won't be playing any futures but i do like a few.........

                            Cinn. OVER (7.5) -200
                            Buffalo UNDER (8.5) -161
                            St Louis OVER (8.5) +100
                            S.F. UNDER (4.5) -125

I really like your Chargers pick. I may join you on that one. As much as I hate to pile on I have to disagree strongly with your projection of the Lions. I don't care how he looks in camp, Harrington has shown nothing in 3 seasons of real NFL action. Rogers is chronically hurt and Williams hasn't played a down in over a year. Plus they have a pathetic defense. 11 wins is just asking way too much of a team that hasn't done better than 6-10 in over 5 years. Anyways....good luck Dan!
