Met announcers are saying that they've been told the deal is dead and the Red Sox are the ones who held up the deal.

The Red Sox and Mets are currently discussing a lesser Manny Ramirez deal that would bring Mike Cameron and Lastings Milledge to Boston, ESPN.com reports.
