3*EXPOS...finally home sweet home!!!it's sort of close to canada,isn't it?!!...after 10 days on the road they finally get to go home...since everyone else owns them they thought playing in pr would fill more seats than the usual attendance north of the border...mets only have to get there from florida and the word on the streets down here is that they went via carnival cruise lines
this is a rematch of last friday when the 40 yr old cone threw 5 scoreless with 5 k's and ohka struggled with 3 runs and 10 hits and didn't make it out of the 4th...ohka has never beaten the mets, in the us that is...tonight the commonwealth welcomes their team home!!! EXPOS-25
1*PADRES.....col has their # 14-5 in coors....col won 4 of last 5...sd lost 3 of last 4...but lawrence is a stud and is red hot....only 2 runs on 7 hits in 15 innings in his 2 starts...oliver never made it out of the 5th giving up 3 runs(2 earned)on 8 hits....and the air is not as thin as it is in col...much better pitcher..PADRES-35
1* PHILLIES...three game sweeps in 01 and 02...myers pitched career high 11k's without allowing a single run..wilson loked like he was still playing for tb on sun!!...liberthal leads major in on base %(.576) and dunn is hitless in his last 11 including 7 k's.....PHILLIES-20.....
extremely unusual to have three favs as i am basically a stone cold dog player...but every now and then a dog must rest!...
