I'm glad you cashed in. Congrats. I played it very big. Looks like only +1 game for the night so far. But, I cost myself a huge huge night. I had no idea the Dallas-Edmonton game was a 9 est start. Thought it was DEFINITELY a 10 est start since theyre playing in Dallas. I was very surprised to see the public shift gears and play heavy on the dogs and under tonight in pucks. They jumped in to late and got caught with all chalk and overs.
Hopefully, will get a few more plays to end another good night. Best of luck to you, congrats on your success.
Another winning night at +4 games...last three nights up 18 games!!! On another wild run...hopefully, another huge hockey play presents itself again...as always best of luck.
Again, no disrespect, or wanting to cause a stir of a thread, but you are not counting juice correct? Would you ever consider giving a more accurate update with juice? I think a running weekly total might be a great idea if you were up to it, as I seem to remember a 2-14 night this week. (and that's w/o juice). Would welcome any response. Goodnight and good luck!!!
No problem. But, look at the content of your inquiry. It is IMPOSSIBLE to implement juice into a concrete number.
For example, if my record tonight was 10-3, how do you implement juice into someones record? A record is based on two "concrete" factors, wins and losses. You're asking for an impossible equation. That's all a capper can do. Provide the plays and then accumulate a record. The followers forumulate their own opinions as to play, fade, and if they play for how much. Hence, the juice becomes relative anyway.
So, a record is accurate. I don't post in units anymore as I debated with Ryan C countless hours with him. Initially I thought he was trying to distort my winnings. But, I was dead wrong. He was actually a big supporter of me and now follows my plays and plays some of them. I realized what he was saying was very logical. So, I went to just posting the plays without the units and each game counts as a single game as everything else. Of course, now when I have something really strong; I'll put a side note next to it such as huge, strong, pretty strong, big, pretty big, etc. I thank Ryan C for pointing the rationale system.
So, you can't implement juice, etc into someones record. Only way you can implement juice is if you start posting the exact amounts you're betting each game or go to a unit system, which makes a whole new mess again. So, you have to take it for face value. If I am +18 games the last three nights, it simply means 18 games over .500.
So, that's as much as I can say about it. I was asked to look into the unit system and change it, and I did. Now, you're asking me include juice with the record. If you can find a way do implement juice into a record I'll be more than happy to do it. But, its impossible. I don't know if you're a newbie or not; but I have changed my system.
Besides, Ive been posting all year and like Ive said Im not out to prove my success anymore. If you think the plays are good, so be it...If you don't like them, so be it...but, its senseless to be in a "game" to prove yourself. People know if you can win or not, especially if a poster has been here for a long time.
Its about posting your plays, giving your opinions and hoping people were helped out. Its not about proving how god you are. If someone wants that then they should join the handicapping contests.
So, I hoped I answered your question. There's nothing to change. Nothing to prove. I've proven I can go on a +20 game run in a short span, and Ive also proven I can lose. That simple. I guess the followers job is to know when to jump on the plays, etc
So, sorry Im not going to get into the particulars. Im gonna remain constant to the way Ryan C pointed out for me. Best of luck to you and again I hope we can keep these threads focused on the plays. Other talk only intereferes with what we are here to do and that is to share opinions on the games and try to win. Not to be accountants.
I definitely understand the units system and not wanting to post them as that would affect a record, almost like making the bigger plays the only ones that matter. My point is an exapmle as follows:
AZ -400 is a loser...and you hit 2 totals for a 2-1 record...67% if only that was posted, while accurate, it is misleading as you would be down 2 units with that example, not +1..so if favs are played and lose, not really a loss of one unit.
MANY posters seem to recap there plays with juice as they are either -110 or - whatever the line is. Nothing impossible there. And if you have adjusted to all one unit plays for Ryan C's sake, than that would make it even easier.
