I just read that, last night, NBC reported Larry Luchinno as saying that, even though it will be extremely difficult due to the size of his contract, Ramirez will be gone by Sunday.

If that happens, Sox season in my opinion will be over and team won't make the playoffs and probably won't either for the next couple of seasons. jmho

I think I can understand the organization's feelings, though. They're probably thinking that, when a guy is being compensated like Manny is, it wouldn't hurt a thing do a little something extra now and then.
