After rain delay the Pirates bring out Vogelsong in the 3rd. They didn't say why Duke wasn't pitching. Vogelsong gives up 2 runs........... For everyone that had Pgh tonight, that hurts......

How long was the rain delay? They probably don't want to risk their top pitching prospect going out to the mound after a long delay. It's not good for the arm, once you've thrown a couple of innings.

Why would the Pirates risk the arm of their top young pitcher in what amounts to a meaningless game for them?

I had the Polerats too as Duke after coming up from Indy has been nothing short of Stellar!! Felt great with my Twins and the over coming through and a MONSTER play on the Mets doing OK but the Pirates with Vogelsong are like the Twins bringing in Mullholland.....kiss the game goodbye if they are near the mound!!

Even the Angels blew up a parlay I had with the Twins as Donnelly went completely wild in extra innings and WP ed the game away to torch the play.

Like you I have the Mariners tonight late on a big play:

Plus the Dodgers and STL +1.5 parlayed with Seattle.

Weather is such a big factor sometimes that it is NOT the conditions......but the DELAY itself forcing the weaker pens hands to take over a game.

Goldvike-why not stop in once in a while and tell us your picks.
You are a very good capper, and I am sure I speak for many ehrn I say that simply telling us who you had at the end of the night is not enough.
It is much better for all of us when WE can partipate in betting your games rather than simply hearing how YOU did.
