This past weekend in MLS, 4 of the top 6 teams went down and a couple of them got taken to the woodshed.. Dallas lost at expansion Salt Lake 3-0, Chicago lost at the Crapids 4-1, LA lost for the first time in a year at home, and New England was outplayed by the worst team I've ever seen in the history of this league.. But I've managed to go on a little 9-2 run in spite of the craziness and hope to finish the first half of the season strong tonight.. GL to everyone on their plays today..
Record: 40-38-5 (+27.16*)
4* FC Dallas pk -108 over New York
NY is still without their playmaker Guevara while Dallas returns the heart of their defense in Greg Vanney. Dallas has the best road record in the league at 5-4-3 while the metros are just 3-2-5 at home.
2* New England -0.5 and -1 (-101)
New England is undefeated at home and LA is winless on the road all year. So why isn't this a bigger play? Because Landon Donovan is back for LA while New England is still missing Ralston and Noonan from Gold Cup injuries. I'm still pissed at New England for blowing my 8* against this same LA team a month ago, but they're the better team especially at Gillette..
