A's take the wildcard lead....Watch out boys, they'll be the youngest team in quit some time to win the WS. Houston will be signing their players up for the retirement home October 1.

Falling back but still fighting with three days makes me say 4* @ 3419

A's -144 (riding a seven game win streak)
Braves +130 RL (Smoltz pitching at home)
Yankees +100 RL (Johnson pitching at home)
      Cardinals +115 RL (Mulder pitching)
Astros +110 RL (Oswalt at home)

5 *s @ 1866 say my Magic 8 Ball is right when it claims:

          Nationals over Braves (+166)
          Rockies over Mets (-107)
          Rangers over Orioles (+110)
          Angels over Blue Jays (-122)

To PMC25, if that is your real name, your attempts to slander the Astros are steeped in crap (also, the A's aren't really as young as you think):

The Astros have 7 players over 30 on their roster
The A's have 8 players over 30 on their roster

The average age of a player on the Astros roster is 30.43
The average age of a player on the A's roster is 28.86

While the Astros team as whole is a little older (by 1.57 years), let's not forget that Roger Clemens (43 on August 4th) is skewing the Astros average age while also leading the Majors in ERA. There isn't a team in the majors that wouldn't bump up its team's average age to get the Rocket on their staff.

I know your parents' dream was that you could go a single day without being a poopy-head ... well I guess there's alway tomorrow.

All of that information and he still can't pick a game....
Oh, this is the worst-looking hat I ever saw. What, when you buy a hat like this I bet you get a free bowl of soup, huh? Oh, it looks good on you though.
