  • 3 Wise Men Report - Tuesday

    3 Wise Men Tuesday July 26th 2005

OK … we had our fling with totals … from now on we’ll concentrate solely on the sides. I think there is money to be made in MLB … especially since most now are gearing toward football.

Good luck today CB - and let's go Mets. I think this is the only time I've seen you with 3 different plays on one team.

Thanks CB. Are you recommending to play all 3 or just the ML play?

                  Mets Play...

since you are essentially making this a 4.5* play, maybe your biggest of the year on any game, why would you place 3 different plays out there if you're not following them? if you don't want to risk the having to win by 2 runs, why not make it a 3* or higher, considering it is really a 4.5* anyway? also, how do you decide to play -1 run on games with your system, especially since this is a low line, and you seemed to have previously only done it on lines above -130? good luck...

                          Melonge

This game is proportioned exactly the way it should be, given that The Mets are a borderline 2 - 2 1/2* ML play. This game is meant to be played in any of the 3 ways listed depending on temperment and bankroll.

You should have gathered by now that 1/2 Run is worth 25 basis points.

                          2* Mets ML -1/2 Run -105

                          1 1/2* Mets -1 Run +120

                          1* Mets -1 1/2 Runs +145 ...+150

Because the ML is so low to begin with we are afforded the freedom to present this game in any of 3 ways ... I chose to list all 3 ... the rest is up to the player.

                          Hope this helps,

                          -Neil

I agree CB that this is a good time to play bases. First sign was the week before the all star break until about last weekend, lots of dogs barking and lots of players losing money, which made many decide to quit betting until football. Bad timing! Baseball is going to heat up again for us, I can feel it, and we will worry about football when it gets here....

                              Good Luck bud!
