Why is SL not a bigger Favorite (I have them at -107). Their record is much better, they are at home, Comming off a loss (close).

Oh the center fielder is under investigation for game fixing (dropping a fly ball)

It looks like "they" want you to take SL. I don't know. Any input would be appreciated.

The reason they set lines at what they are is always based on the starting pitching. Like last year when the Diamondbacks (worst team in MLB) would have Randy Johnson pitching they would be -300 when on any other day they would be +200. Thats why you should play underdogs because you never know when a starting pitcher is going to have a bad day.
The 1927 Yankees weren't the best team ever. What everyone fails to realize is that the year before, with the exact same team, they lost to the Cardinals in the World Series.

          Simple.........here are the reasons....

-Mark Prior is pitching for the Cubs
          -Larry Walker is injured
          -Scott Rolen is injured
          -Reggie Sanders is injured
          -Yadier Molina is injured
-Pujols sat out yesterday because of an injury and came in as a pinch hitter late in the game

IMO The linemakers know better than to make the st louis cardinals juicy underdogs at home against the cubs on nationally televised sunday night baseball.

Ok, if they were a juicy underdog at home everyone would play them, I think is what your saying.

If they were a modest favorite lets say -120 to -130, Is till think they would be getting a majority of the action but still able for the boks to balance out.

Maybe not. I may be thinking wrong.

But when I saw the game about even I thought something was up.

Thank you for all of the input, I'm still new at this and rely on everyone here. Who knows the day may come when I post my plays and noone will fade them. HA

A great example of how the Cards were a trap tonight. Nice low line probably tempted a lot of people on the Cards.

                Thank you Nefi Perez!!!!!

First, I would like to say I didn't have a play on this game, and am a CUBS fan...however, just cause of the outcome, it doesn't mean this game was a trap...So if STL had gotten a hit in the 9th to win it, it all of a sudden wouldn't of been a trap? Makes no sense...line was where it is cause Prior is a better pitcher than Suppan, who has only once ever had an ERA below 4, and STL's lineup was without 4 starters, which was public knowledge...now you may be right, many people might of played STL cause of the low number and not have spent a small amount of time realizing the injuries, but if these type of people bet, they deserve to lose their money...good luck...
