Nice to have new cappers

I am very happy to see many come forward as newbie cappers. You will only gain confidence in your betting and see what you didn't take into consideration when you have a loss. Was it the bullpen you left out or the umpire or the injury or whatever. Was the wind blowing out at cubs game or in San Fran. No matter what- you are taking responsibility for your actions. Now I press the need to bet responsible (never more than 1/4 of your stash and stay disciplined until you gain a foothold on this mountain. Believe in yourself and understand that services mostly take the most obvious plays - where you can find reasons that the play will not be a good-un because you uncovered some stats that they did not figure on or dismissed. Vegas looks at how to get the betting public on both sides of the equation or on a side that it believes won't cover. Line moves are a good indicator of smart money and voila- you have just made yourself and B/C stronger. Good Luck

I am more curious to see which ones stick around. I see a lot of new faces today but wonder who will continue to post and who will disappear?

I believe a few will emerge. It is the best time for "Closet Cappers" to come forth- in the second half of the season.

Exactly, only time will tell who will be a productive member to this forum and who will be banned before hitting the over/under of 15 posts. Good Luck to all, let's help everyone make more $$$.

seaofred, Alot of these people just signed up in June or July. Usually the one's that signed up a few months back during hoops season are a little more reliable. I don't know why that is but football brings out all kinds and MANY looking for money!

I encourage all to try it- My thought is that without services- a new breed can distinguish themselves and provide some decent picks in the progess- as Kapt has mentioned-records need to be kept and units as well. If they want to join the dark side and get greedy then, we will have you detectives to take the trash out. I thought this was good timing to invite all out of the closet. I see now - that the closet s have many skeletons as well from your posts. Bringing more members on to post - is better than having many sitting on the sidelines- just viewing or possibly disrupting the site in some manner.

I agree also ... I like when i see someone posting plays for the first time .. I enjoy as much when they join in for some fun like my buddy dun did ... but like Wayne said open registration and football season can bring some trouble ... No matter what, this is the best site on the web and only going to get better ...
