unlikely pitcher come out of nowhere to fill in admirably as a number 4
or 5 starter down the stretch. The latest resurrection project this year
is Jorge Sosa. In three previous seasons with Tampa Bay, Sosa started 41
games, had a record of 11 wins against 26 losses, with an ERA of 5.17.

Through half of this season, Sosa has six starts since coming out of the
bullpen, with a record of 4 - 1 and an ERA of 2.89. Once again, the
Braves are in the top 5 in the majors in team ERA and wins. There needs
to be some kind of award for pitching coaches, except that Leo Mazzone
would win it every other year. With a perfect road record (4 - 0), we'll
back Jorge Sosa and the Braves tonight. Take Atlanta.
