yes there pitching is that bad. Maybe he can be a mid- relief? who knows but chacon is a pretty bad pitcher in the NL whats he going to do vs. the much superior AL.

Chacon has suprisingly been pitching pretty decent this year imo. A lot better than I expected him to.

I put Shitcone in the same class as Goldvike would say Bunghole Kim-unreliable and very inconsistent(yeah these guys might have pitched pretty good so far, but I have my doubts over any extended period of time).
From a Red Sox fan point of view I do hope that Yankees are hanging their hats on how Chacon does in AL. He reminds me of Heatcliffe Slocumb.

I played against Sean Casey in High School and I played against Lavar Arrington in 6th grade in basketball, and I don't give 2 shits about either of them. This is about betting, and what this shit-head pitcher can or can't do for the SKANKEES.

IMO Chacon is a joke, and shouldn't pitch for any MLB team.

How many national league pitchers have the yankees picked up over the last few yrs. that have actually panned out successfully! Can't see that Chacon makes a big difference. They brought over Brown (DL), Pavano (DL), Vasquez (now w/Ari), R. Johnson (avg. at best), J. Wright (DL & sucks) and I know i'm still missing a few names. Go Boston!!

well if he's a friend, then you have every right to want him to do good. I just think he's a below average pitcher. And of course he's a competitor, they all are, or they wouldn't be at that level.
