Who's your most "HATED" ESPN announcer?

Saw the Chris Berman thread earlier this week and thought the results of this might be interesting. Here is my ESPN "Shit" list with commentary...

#1 Kenny Mayne: The runaway winner - How is this guy still working on network television? Whose 8 x 10s does this clown have? His deadpan, humorless style makes me want to reach for a brick and fling it screenward.

#2 Stuart Scott: Mr. Street Cred - Mr. Lingo - Mr. Hip Hop = Mr. ANNOYING!

#3 Chris Berman: He's "Jabba the Sportscaster". Admittedly tolerable on NFL football, he's horrific with any other sport. His "back, back, back, back..." x 100 on Monday night drove me crazy. It was like a root canal without the painkiller. Abreu's first round explosion got Jabba off to a flying start and he never let up.

#4 Mike Hall: How on earth did this guy win "Dream Job"? He's SO weak that it has almost been two years since he won and he is rarely, if ever, on the air. And when he is you just want to slap him.

Dishonorable mention: Andrea Kramer and Michael Irvin

#1...Dan Patrick. I can't stand this guy's ego to the fact that when he is interviewing someone that he feels he can ask such stupid unimportant questions to see like he is getting info no one else can get....questions like. Ok Joe (montana).....cheryl tiegs or chocolate ice cream? Hot summer day or cold day? Plus he does have the WORST sports talk show in history!!! The best part of his show before was Dibbs stupidity and now that he is gone it's Patrick and Show Killer.

#2...Stuart Scott. He could be #1. His "street style of lingo" is annoying and too overplayed. He tries too hard to be everyone's "boy" on Dream Job. I will say that I do listen to hip hop and rap so I'm not being a hatter that way, I just can't stand his Player, player sayings....enough.

#3. Chris Berman....okay so you are the name guy. You have been doing that since day one....move onto something else now.

Honorable mention....Linda Cohns (why is she on tv? bland style and not good looking) and Joe Morgan (we all know you played for the big red machine, do you have to remind us after each inning?)

I can say that I used to be a Michael Irvin hatter but overtime I do like him. He doesn't sugar coat anything about his playing and partying days with the cowboys and does rip players no matter who they are. He is edgy and has a rep that many people hate but I have heard him on Jim Rome a few times and he gives details about the parties, girls, and drugs and doesn't give the "innocent speech". He lays it out there for people to hear and does the same when ripping other players. He does hold some clout as he was a great player when he played where as Merrill Hoge rips someone and you sit there and ask, you couldn't do that so why rip someone for not doing that?

I loved it when Irvin ripped Freddy Mitchell over and over again during the playoffs and super bowl.

1) Sean Salisbury, This guy was a 3rd string Minnesota quartback and all the sudden he knows everything about football? Shut the fuck up Sean, you're an IDIOT!

2) Stu Scott, Used to be cool, now he is just flat out annoying now.

I lost all respect for Tom Jackson when Rush Limbaugh made those Donovan McNabb statements and Tom Jackson kept mum until days later when someone had to tell him to be offended. He just sat there nodding his big fat head like the dummy he is.

Honorable mention: the whole football pre-game show who are directed to cut each other down like a bunch of fifth graders. This direction no doubt comes from some pencil necked geek who never played a sport in his life.

I'm not one to poke fun at people but I must say Stuart Scott needs to get his eye fixed. They must have some kinda surgeroy you can do for that. Seriously it looks like 1/2 of his face has fallen asleep

I haven't heard him in a while, but personally I can't stand Dave Justice.
The guy adds nothing and says just the obvious. Stuff like "So and so pitcher doesn't want to throw so and so batter too good a pitch;otherwise, he might hit it out of the park." Or "There are dark clouds overhanging the ballpark. If rain should fall from some of those clouds, the field might get wet, and the game might have to be stopped until the rain stops falling." He is a pseudo analyst in my opinion, is long winded and says NOTHING of interest and/or which adds any insight to the game.

1) Chris Berman....is only there because he's been there from the beginning. That's it...he is the Harry Carey of broadcasting now in my opinion.

2) Linda Cohn....at least give me someone easy on the eyes. Her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard

3)Joe Morgan....has a complex to me that he's better then you are. Have a very hard time relating to him.

4)Jon Miller...doesn't know where he his half the time.
