Just lost my Detroit pick with another great management move.....Tigers winning 4-3...Reliever Farnsworth for Detroit had just pitched 8th inning, 12 pitches got 3 men out, no runs no hits...So the Genius Mgr decides to replace him with Percival who has a 1-2 record, 25 IP, 16 ER, gave up 7 HR's and has a 5.76 ERA...

you guessed it---he gives up a single and a HR...Tigers lose 5-4....and this MGR is making a ton of money for these kind of decisions...This is one of the intangibles you can't control....Bad ass BaseBall decisions by bad ass Mgrs....it continues to amaze me...

Not sure if you played this game but, watching the ranger/blue jays and Texas got a 2 run homer gift that was on the foul side of the pole, which was called fair.

Don't you just hate this suspense. My daughter played in a 9 yr and under softball tournament today, Her team was down 7-1 with only 3 hits going into the last inning and they scored 6 to tie it up. The other tem scored 4 in extra innings and our team scored 5 to win by 1. Looks like the same thing might happen in this game!
