I will try to update as early as I can. No conclusive evidence at all right now. I would say over 50% of the people betting this game still haven't even put their bets in. I'm looking at line moves and two SOLID shifts which I like to see. My only conclusive early opinion---->> The question of who's gonna win is not the question for me. As of now my opinion is Kansas wins the game. Question remains if Kansas covers. I very well may end up on the Cuse BUT no way in hell am I gonna moneyline them if Im on them. Of course that's just my opinion. Heres some info

Before the Final 4 games teams that were bet on most to win it all:

1) Texas
2) Syracuse
3) Kansas
4) Marquette


Yup, more people bet the Cuse to win it all than Kansas and guess what? The experts in the desert made Kansas the favorite to win it all INCLUDING number ONE Texas. Tonight's line was set to "attract" Syracuse money all the way. If they wanted Kansas money that line would have been at 3. But, whether Cuse money comes in or not remains to be seen. Kansas was favored by ONLY 4.5 versus Marquette and NOW they are favored by 5 over Syracuse in the national Championship game? After the Cuse beat EVERY Big 12 powerhouse? Of course, these are just my insights. Way to early to put out even a lean on the game, but the only thing I have cancelled is any possibility of Syracuse moneyline. They won't win tonight. Of course I could be dead wrong. Who knows

I think your analyses of the game may be right but I tend to differ with you regarding the line. I believe the reason that the line opened as high as it did is simply due to the blowout of Marquette on Saturday. The public perception of Kansas right now is through the roof. When a lot more money is being wagered by people who rarely bet Vegas tries to prey on the public. I'm not saying that Kansas cannot win this game or cover for that matter, I think the line is fair but also I think it is this high due to the blowout. Personally I like Syracuse, and definetly think they have a shot at winning straight up. It just seems like too many people base their plays on what happened in the last game. Furthermore I feel that both Texas and Oklahoma were both as good if not better than Kansas. Both had more depth and better overall shooters... Either way best of luck to you and everyone else

My store just closed shop for the night and said they have got about even $ on both sides.

As far as I thnk, the line is pretty fair as I am still undecided at my own thought of the right side here. I often check out the value index at V.I. and their tables show Kansas should be a 12 point fav. Though it is theroretical, it does mean somethink at times. If I remember right it had Syracuse the fav. over Texas and Kansas well over Marq. on Sat.

I took the points, going against a few friends that don't bet who like Kansas big.

Early money had to be on Cuse, right. line opened at 4.5 and went to 5 yesterday and to 5.5 on my other book last night.

Although we probably disagree more than agree in philosophy, I think X is correct with respect to the opening line. If they would have placed this bugger at 2' of 3 so much money would have pured through the door there would be no way they could get back even. They recognize those who like Kansas will more than not bet that team as much at 4, 5, or even at 6. However, the open at 4' was high enough to bring in some Cuse $$$. Sure, Kansas ran Marquette out of the gym, however, Cuse's dd win was equally impressive over the highest team left on the board at the time in Texas.

I think the Dessert knows Kansas will run them out of the gym again tonight and wanted this thing to start at a high enough number to draw late (loser) orange money.

Kansas by DD tonight and I am not just quoteing the "square" Joe Public line. My $$$ will be Rockin, Chalkin, Jayhawkin! And I say it stays Under as well. Syracuse will not get more than 70 with a stretch, I am thinking 82-68 is your final.

Granted they ran and shoot the lights out against Texas. I watched them all year in the Big East and this is not a Team that can post 75 every time out. Carmello is awesome baby but Kansas just has to much for them. I stand behind my Kansas DD win.

I like the wager and that takes a very strong backing with the posted o/u line on the cuse team total and I give you credit for backing your words. I however am willing to split the difference and make it a line of 73 for our 1.00 wager. This should be fun and I will gladly settle if you are correct. Good luck to you. Slim, kind of goes in streaks and I am banging the Cuse and the over. Foul trouble finally catches up with the Jayhawks tonight. Kansas is 3 fouls away from a nightmare night....... Please note throughout the game that KU's point gaurd is NOT a shooter. Miles will have the open shot all night. This is makes the zone 5X easier to play. See Texas, Ford much better shooter than miles, was left open all night from the perimeter. As this game goes on we will see Miles ungaurded. Most Big East teams have a point gaurd who can shoot. Kansas has one maybe two players that has "consistently" shot well from the perimeter. That does not consist of the point. This offense is perfect for that zone and KU all season long has struggled with zone defenses. I live in the midwest and feel this is it for Roy and the Hawks. Roy is in N.C. and Cuse wins it all.

50 in the first half and 31 (More like it) in the second, 81 is over 73 the last time I checked but I still think I made a play I would make again, again, and again.

Those 6 3's from Mcnamara in the 1st half killed me. Can you please tell me WHY Kansas didn't SHOOT THE F'IN Ball??? When they cut it to 3 with the ball with 12 minutes left...NOTHING.......back to 5 with 8 minutes left nothing...? Not to mention missing 20+ freee throws.

Kansas did not deserve the win, Syracuse earned it, and your retirment fund is now expanded by $1. If not anyhting else I will assure you an original way to deliver the goods. I will provide a keeper for the Office, Study, or Family Room. Any preference on sharing your address?? Via email??
