Speaking of closers, it sure looks like it is time that Foulke be closed out.
It just doesn't appear that he is going to turn it around.
Come on Radatz, come on back from the Hereafter and show the folks how it is done.
I am probably one of the few who remember how awesome this guy was for several seasons back in the 60's, and he did it day after day and many times came in as early as the 7th inning.
Fouke even at his best last year was no Radatz, thats for sure.

Fouke was lights out with the A's two years ago. He was a free agent and signed with Boston for 12 Mil over 2 years. And from that point on, it was all downhill for him. He has always been a finess pitcher and his fastball very rarely was over 90mph. Did you see his ERA for this season when in a save situation. BEFORE tonight it was over 10. incredible. It was nice for me because Texas was my Dog of the Day, and for a change I got helped by a shit pitcher.

Yet another blown save by this Jock...Red Sox fans ya better get yourself another closer cause if not that little run ya made at the end and won the world series will be just a flash in the past.. There is NO WAY they will win with Foulke as the closer...

that is the point TMAC......however, the sox have been able to be in first with no closer and no #1 starter....not too shabby........beats having pavano and wright (my shoulder), randy .500 johnson, grandpa bernie in center, i can't see giambi at first...no need to go on.....

Maybe the Red Sox should make a straight up trade for Fat Boy Kolb from the Braves.

Lets not bury him quite yet guys.....it's not like it's a Mitch Williams or John Rocker or Rick Ankiel kind of thing...he's just getting hit. It happens.

I'd love to have Foulke on my team any day.

Time to call up Hansen for a Chad Cordero/Huston Street-esque impact?
