Reason: With a couple of struggling pitchers on the mound, I expect to see plenty of runs on the board Monday afternoon in San Francisco.

The Reds will send Elizardo Ramirez to the hill. He has dropped each of his first three big league starts, posting a 6.75 ERA in the process. Over his last 9 2/3 innings of work, Ramirez has given up a whopping 11 earned runs. I don't expect him to last deep into this one, making way for a Reds bullpen that boasts a lofty 5.07 ERA.

Giants starter Kirk Rueter hasn't fared much better. He is just 2-7 this season with an ERA north of five. There has been an average of 11.8 total runs scored in his five daytime starts. The over is 5-2-1 in his last eight starts overall, 5-3 at home. The Reds have feasted on lefties, hitting over .310 against them in their last 10 games.
