Reason: At 5:10 pm, in Game 1 of the Double Header, our National League "First Half Game of the Year" is on the Cincinnati Reds with Aaron Harang over Houston and Wandy Rodriguez. Rodriguez has been dreadful for most of the year (6.86 ERA, 1.72 WHIP), and he'll be overmatched today vs. a solid Cincy offense + a much better pitcher. Harang has been especially good at home this year, as he's compiled a 2.81 ERA and an 0.97 WHIP. Moreover, Harang has dominated Astro bats in 2005, going 13 innings and giving up just 3 runs, while striking out 18, and allowing just 13 baserunners. Needless to say, Cincy won both of Harang's starts this year vs. Houston. Finally, a big key for me today is the fact that Harang will be working on an extra day of rest (while Rodriguez is pitching on normal rest). Winning Systems is one person who posts his picks for free on a different forum, that's why you can't google him and find him. It's just his screen name.
