Kenny Rogers Suspention

Just heard on ESPN News that Kenny Rogers got a 20 game suspention.

Wow I was waiting for that to come down. That's 4-5 starts he will miss. Tom Hicks said they are going to suspend his contract negotiations until the end of the season.

He just lost himself millions. Here is why he was pissed off if anyone cares:

- They started his contract negotiations in Feb. and he and his asshole agent (Boris) were not getting the love they thought he should get and were saying he should be one of the top 10 paid pitchers, then those talks were put off until later
- Well now into the season he starts pitching lights out 1.85 ERA or so after 10+ starts and gets them to re-open negotiations again
- Then durning this time his buddy Ryan Driese gets optioned to the minors because he got into a scuffle with the catcher in the dugout during a game. Then picked up by the Nats. This pissed off Kenny.
_ Well then he hits the stupid water cooler after a bad game and injures his non-pitching hand and can't pitch for a couple starts. Kenny never talks to the media so the Media has to speculate that he should still be able to pictch against division rival Angels and kind of calls him out, questioning his manhood. Some were saying he was afraid to face the Angels during his negotiations and get rocked like he did in LA.
- So all the above plus the Media speculation put him over the edge.

Part of the moral of the story here is when you have an injury you better pony up and face the media or they will talk for you and you may not like what they say.

All in all I could care less about his sorry ass and if he comes back this year at all. We have some young picthers ready to step in......Sorry for the rant!

Watch the Rangers, they will rally off this and go on a big winning streak.

Got to tell you., any athlete who says at the beginning of the season, he won't talk to the press, gets no love here. If it wasn't for the media, most athletes would be no-names. Rogers is a moron, who thinks beating up a defenseless cameramen 1/2 his size makes him manly. Kenny, get over yourself, you aren't that good.

Wow. Nice work in shifting the focus from the ASSHOLE. Who the hell cares how the cameraman reacts, Rogers was OUT OF LINE!! The only reason the benefits will come out of this for the cameraman is because Kenny Rogers initiated the stupid behavior!! There thats my rant.
