    Pirates

    The Pirate game was delayed for 2 hrs and 10 min., With 2 outs and a 2-2 count and Rob Macowiak batting and a guy on third base and Wash winning 2-1.
    The first pitch Patterson throws after the delay was right over the middle of the plate and Rob hit it in the upper deck in right field.
    The Pirates lead 3-1!! I just love this stuff!

    I'm 5-11" or 6-2" depending on which convenience store I'm coming out of.

      The score I see is 2-1 pitt top of the fourth. Are the scoreboard wrong? After rain delays they seem to have a tough time catching up sometimes.

            Sorry Bud, it was 1-0 Washington before the home run!!
            I'm excited cause I'm getting 1.5 with the Pirates!
            That makes it 3.5-1!

              Chuck, this Pirates game is not going to be over until way past your bed time. Lack of sleep makes for lazy wrists and a tighter slice tomorrow.:-)

                I do not like being on the other side of your plays chuck as you are a proven winner but I am on this one and vogelsong came in the game for pitt after the rain delay and his era is over 5 and according to cbssportsline when he has pitched in a pitt game this year the teams record is 1-18. This bodes very well for washington it would seem. But as we all know anything can happen in baseball. He may throw a stellar game tonight. Which would be par for the course for me. lol
