SCOTT SPREITZER'S 21-1, 95% 1ST HALF GAME OF THE YEAR!
                        Cost: Free Pick ($40) Ungraded

                        Handicapper: Scott Spreitzer

                        League: MLB

Event: Chicago White Sox vs Detroit Tigers on 06/30/2005 at 10:05

                        Condition: Chicago White Sox

                        Grade: Ungraded

Promotion: My 1st half GOY is a play on the White Sox with Garcia vs. Maroth! Chicago with Garcia fits a perfect 14-0 Indicator, while Maroth and the Tigers fit a 1-7 negative Indicator, for a combined 21-1, 95% play-on Indicator on the Sox. Garcia has been outstanding on the road this season, sporting a 2.83 ERA over 8 starts. Chicago has cashed 6 of those tickets, and 11 of 15 starts overall. And, he should get plenty of support from the offense. The ChiSox are 9-2 on the road against LHS, averaging over 6.5 runs per game! All of this support, against the lefty Maroth, who has been tagged for a 5.53 home ERA in 9 starts! It all adds up to a BIG WIN for the White Sox. I'm making Chicago, my First Half Game of the Year! Thanks! Good Luck! Scott.

                            Gamblers World - Free Tip

Game: Milwaukee Brewers @ Chicago Cubs on Jun 30 2005 2:20PM

                            Prediction: Milwaukee Brewers

                            Current Line: -137

Reason: The Brewers are looking to avoid the three-game sweep this afternoon after a pair of close losses the past two nights.

Chicago starter Greg Maddux does not have the same dominating presence as in years past as evident by his mediocre 4.56 ERA in his sixteen starts this season, including an awful 6.89 ERA over his past three outings.

Meanwhile, there is solid value with Milwaukee’s Chris Capuano as an underdog today based on his strong 3.22 overall ERA this season and an even better 2.41 ERA over his past three starts.
