Wow....quite a card...When I saw them post the matchups for todays plays at the Palace Station sportsbook last night, two games really jumped out at me and those were the Marlins with Willis, and White Sox with Buehrle...I was happy to see Marlins/Willis as your POD, but i think either of these would be solid plays.....GL today buddy, and we will get this card in

I'm intrigued by a couple of your picks....
The dog Rats..... do you feel Josh "London" Fogg will pitch well today or "Peewee" Drese will keep having trouble against NL, and Pitts-boig, batters...
BTW your 2B Mack-y-wack has done wonders for my fantasy team since I added him a month into the season!
And the Cincy +1.5...do you think Mulder will keep having trouble w Cincy and Claussen will keep pitching well.... would you still play the Cards in parlays as other cappers here are doing?

where do u get your run lines from...i see most are -1 today....i only see -1 1/2 at sportsbooks.....is it bcuz u placed bets yesterdy?

Most people get their -1 runlines from Pinnacle..

If you wanted to place a bet which would be equivalent to the Marlins -1 RL bet for $2000 as Chuck did, here's what you would do:

Place a $1910 bet to win 1000 on the Florida -191 ML
Place a $1000 bet to win 1110 on the Florida -1.5 (+111) RL

Therefore, if Boston wins by exactly one run, then your bet is essentially refunded because you won the ML bet and lost the RL bet. So you are effectively betting Florida -1 (-138). Good Luck.

Gary, I thought long and hard with these 2 plays. First of all I had the Cards on the -1 runline. And the more I looked this over the more I couldn't decide to take them. Mulder is good at home and has sucked on the road, but the fact that the Reds beat him up in 3 games this year and the Cards usually win alot of their games by 1 run, brought me to take the Reds +1.5.
Mulder pitched 16 innings in 3 games, giving up 26 hits and 13 runs. The Reds know they can hit him. I watched the Pirates win 2 out of 4 games in St. Louis last week and picked 3 out of the 4 games right, with my only loss being the first night when they jumped all over Morris in 3 innings for 8 runs. Claussen pitched in 2 games and gave up 17 hits and 10 runs, not much better, but I'm looking at a 7-6 score!



Now I also watched Pgh light up Drese the other day to the tune of 5 runs on 8 hits in 3 innings, knocking out of the game.
I don't care how good you may pitch at home, teams that beat you up usually make you pitch a little differently and that can hurt a team a lot more! Fogg has pitched fairly well his last 3 times out. It has been errors and bad decisions that beat him!
You could get a hit off Drese, he's not that good!

I hope this helps, but play what you like. Don't let me persuade you one way or another. I also was the only one to take Pgh Sunday to beat the Cards, and they did 5-4!
