It was their NBA Game of the Year.

The fact that the Animal had his top play on the San Antonio Spurs
saved me a lot of cash....I would probably have banged Detroit hard if it weren't for the Animal sports service.

Baseball---why Detroit when SA is hot?

I figured the line should have been SA by 5-6, but the fact that
it was 1.5-2.5 made me think Detroit(Great Lake Sports) was the right side. I was Wrong....

wrong before will be wrong again

Come on-baseball nut-do you really think I bet Detroit after what I just said?
I NEVER play a game solely on anyone's say so and did not bet this game at all, as the Animal had a big play on San Antonio, and because of what I said in previous post.
Although I do not usually pay for Animal's picks, as they are posted for free, I have a great deal of respect for his opinions, and even if I had not seem his pick, Detroit seemed like a crapshoot pick.
I definitely will make a large wager on San Antonio to win NBA championship once I see a line;I think they will not only win the title but without that much difficulty!
Sacramento is my second choice and I simply don't see Dallas, LA or anyone else there at the end.

I may change my mind and play Kings, considering they are playing great right now and because they have more offense than the Spurs.
The Spurs however have been outstanding all year and more importantly they are a great and consistent road team, and no of other teams can say that at least at this juncture.

I guess I was foaming at the mouth a little when I said little difficulty;I do like the way they play as a unit though and their ability to withstand comebacks on the road like yesterday and still prevail. Duncan for MVP?

I think Duncan blends his team together better than does Garnett;this is not to say that Garnett is not a great player also.

                      i agree

                      but the REAL MVP IS

                      SHAQ

no one will change my mind there

                      the other plyers win games

                      SHAQ WINS CHAPIONSHIPS

Then if what you say is true, then why not pick the Lakers to win the championship this year?
I think San Antonio does not have a chance unless Duncan excels in post season-that is why I picked SA to win it all.

San Antonio did not pay their dues
                          Sacramento did

not sure how long you have been gambling - - - -but trust me

that is why Dallas wont win

THEY HAVE NOT PAID THEIR DUES IN THE POST SEASON

                          Lakers cant win every year

                          3 is great

First of all I have been wagering a long time.
Second of all, in regards to you dues theory, I remember unfortunately playing Buffalo in Superbowl against Dallas in early 90's, and if you recall, Buffalo had "paid their dues" by losing in other years in the game, whereas Dallas I believe had finished last they year before.
You know the rest of the story.

                              is different - - i think

anyways i think the KINGS will win it all

                              maybe I am wrong

maybe The Wizzards might do it

who knows............only God, the Pope, and Wayne

I believe San Antonio did win a championship. No? Therefore the dues theory does not apply.
In any case, Dallas won't win it because of lack of defense.
I go back a ways, and from my expeience usually(not always) in most sports the team that plays the best defense in playoffs wins.
For my money San Antonio is the best of teams in that department right now.
