136-129 (-19.93 units)
slump continues...........last played on thursday going 2-3 (-4.26 units), losing both two unit plays. Drove 4 hours and went to philly on friday to see my phillies play the redsox, and they got pounded 8-0. i could not believe how many redsox fans were at the philly game. this slump needs to end soon or i will have give this up.
two unit plays.
atlanta -136 vs baltimore...........i did mention that the braves are due to get hot and put together a winning streak, and it has started. they are hitting the ball now and have smoltz throwing today. this is a no brainer for me.
boston -108 vs phillies.................phils will be glad when redsox leave town. phils bats are ice cold and everything going the sox's way right now, and we get wells (3-0, 1.80 era) last three starts. phils don't stand a chance today the way they are hitting vs wells.
one unit plays
white sox -130 vs cubs............prior will be hurt and out by the third inning. not passing up Garland (12-2, 3.40) at home as this small a favorite.
under 8 (-105) baltimore/atlanta............smoltz almost an automatic under for me when he pitches.
under 8.5 (-115) cubs/white sox................just looks like an under with these two pitchers.
