I've tried this and it's worked to some extent. I do the same thing picking sides. What I do is wait as long as I can, get the latest numbers from Pinnacle and then bet into my local book using the 10% vig he uses instead of the 20% offshore.

3 years ago I made a lot of money doing this with the Hockey O/U erds. My local book figured out what I was doing and cut me off. Hockey o/u erds are a lot smaller than baseball so the money movement was more important.

The best thing to do is handicap your own games and when the money movement goes to your side, bet with the local book at the lower %. Over the couse of a season with patience, you can win money. Have to be selective, not bet them all blindly. Just another tool to increase your chances.

DAY 3: 2-5 with 2 pushes,

a lot of totals changed along with the juice..lost Col O at 13.5(TR moved up the .5, could have been a push)

Pushed on NYM O9 with an .5 increase(could have been a win.)

3day total is now 16-9

day 4: 3-1-2 plus KC Opened at O9 -125 and moved to -110 so if you went with the public or the way the juice flowed you would have taken the under and hit.

4 day total 20-10

5 day total: 25-14
