Had a nice day on the bases yesterday, these are my plays for Saturday.

3 STAR: Cleveland (Sabathia)(+$110) OVER KANSAS CITY (HERNANDEZ)
The Royals are off to a hot 4-0 start, but I look for the Indians to hang their first loss on them today. Cleveland is 57-46 as a road underdog of +100 to +150 over the last three seasons, and CC Sabathia has owned the Royals. Sabathia in his career is 7-1 with an ERA of 3.02 against the Royals and the Indians are 14-4 in road games against division opponents when Sabathia is the starter. The Tribe get the win here.
2 STAR: Chicago (Zambrano)(+$100) OVER CINCINNATI (HAYNES)
The Reds got their first win of the season yesterday, but they have major problems with their pitching and nearly blew a seven run lead in that win. Jimmy Haynes gave up six runs in just four innings against the Pirates on opening day, and I look for the Cubs to have success against him in this game. Carlos Zambrano has pitched will against the Reds, he is 1-1 in two career starts with an ERA of just 0.64. The Reds have really struggled against right handed pitchers over the last three seasons, posting a record of 46-74, including 0-3 this season. Cubs win this one.
2 STAR: Los Angeles (Nomo)(-$130) OVER SAN DIEGO (LAWRENCE)
These two teams have played each other almost evenly over the last three seasons. With the Padres winning the first two games of this series, I look for the Dodgers to get the win today. Hideo Nomo is 13-4 as a road favorite of -110 or more and he is 5-1 in road games where the total is 7.5 or less over the last three seasons. Brian Lawrence is 1-7 as a home underdog of +100 to +150 over the last three seasons. Saturday's have also been good to the Dodgers, they are 37-14 on Saturdays over the last three seasons. This looks like a good play at a reasonable price.
