2-2 (-0.92 units) last night splitting my one and two unit plays. of course the play i cancelled (mets) due to pitching change would have been a winner. those kind of things happen when you are in a slump.
two unit plays
white sox -1.5 (-125) vs kansas city...........sox continue to just win and we got buehrle (8-1) (2.67 era) going today vs an all of sudden, in my opinion, over rated royals team. people talked about how bad this royal team was and now they get a new manager and they are supposed to be good. i don't buy it. same team, they just don't suck quite as bad, but they still suck.
houston -1.5 (-110) vs colorado..............mr clemens at home, where the astros are so much better than the road, vs a horrible rockies team (5-30) on the road. this has blowout written all over it.
one unit plays
cleveland -113 vs boston..................cleveland was red hot going into this series and have lost the first two. tribes turn to win now.
texas -110 vs angels..............simply a play on mr rogers, who has been great so far, texas bats due to explode on somebody as well.
atlanta -110 vs florida...............just get the feeling those hated (at least by me) braves are going to go on a winning streak real soon. they seem to be playing a little better than they have been. not bad odds betting the braves at home either.
i thought padilla was supposed to pitch for the phillies today again, but he is not. that would have been a play against him again.
i hope padilla does not pitch on friday night. i am driving three hours to see my phillies play the redsox on friday night and i do not want to see padilla pitch, that would just ruin everything.
