You may never get rich playing parlays, but at least you can have some fun with them. Here's one that looks good from a few different angles.
May play small for the fun of it, but it does look decent, IMO.
Colorado R/L- Every team in the Majors won atleast 5 series on the road last year. Assuming the same (or close) will be true again this year, it's likely not going to be all in the same half, or in this case the second half. Colorado has yet to win a road series, but this may be the one. They have little chance of defeating anyone else in a road series, so this one makes a little sense...
***WRIGHT is 17-2 against the run line (+14.3 Units) in road games vs. teams averaging 2.75 or less extra base hits per game since 1997. (Team's Record)***
Cincinatti R/L - The Cards are doing well right now and have hit 4 straight 4 road games on their current trip. Worthy of note is the fact that the Cards haven't gone the entire season thus far either winning or losing more than 4 in a row on the R/L. They just hit their last 4.
***Play Against - All favorites against a 1.5 run line. (Money Line =+115 to +160) (ST LOUIS) - with a very good bullpen whose ERA is 3.33 or better on the season against opponent with a starting pitcher whose WHIP is 1.450 to 1.550 on the season-NL. (53-17 over the last 5 seasons.)***
K.C. R/L - How many times can one team defeat another in a row? The White Sox are 7-0 vs the Royals this year and looknig for more. But the Royals do have a few things on thier side:
The Royals have been swept by the Sox Twice already this year. A third time would be difficult even vs a team as inept as the Royals.
Grienke's already lost to this team Twice this year. It's hard for teams to beat pitchers 3 times in one season and vice versa.
Visitor won last four Umpire Winters games, with last three all going over the total.
***KC is 7-3 after batting .300 or better over a 15 game span***
San Diego - The Dodgers have lost 7 straight for the first time this year and look to end the streak tonight. But, they send Lowe to the mound. He defeated the Padres earlier this year, Twice, against the same pitcher he's facing tonight.
Loss number 8 in a row looks like is in order for tonight...
***Williams teams are 13-3 as a home favorite of -125 to -175***
Anaheim R/L - Texas is a big road dog a day after losing to this Anaheim team. Why? They have Park on the mound and are 10-3 when he start s this year. It could be because they know that:
Park has given up 15 ER's and 13BB in just 20 innings vs the division.
ANAHEIM is 12-1 against the run line vs. a starting pitcher whose winning percentage is better than 80% over the last 3 seasons.
ATL - Burnett has received 27 run of support in his last 2 outings. It took him the previous 8 outings to get that much support. He may have gone a little deep into the support fund. Smoltz faced this team earlier this year and they got to him. But despite that, expect this outing to pick up a nice ATL win
***Burnett's teams are 1-6 as an underdog of +100 to +150***
Tampa Bay R/L - I love the D' Rays to cover the R/L, but it's a risk. Nomo has never defeated the Yanks 3 times in one year and has already done it twice this year. At the same time the 'Big Unit' has yet to win more than 2 starts in a row for the NYY.
hmmmm....
*** TAMPA BAY is 13-1 against the run line in road games after a win by 2 runs or less over the last 2 seasons.***
