I'm going to play Phil Ivey +4500 for an undisclosed amount to be at the final table at the WSOP.

I've heard Howard Lederer say he's the best player in the world, right now, and that's a pretty good endorsement.

We all know that a lot of luck is involved, but i'd like to have my money on one of top guys.

takes alot of balls to bet poker but if i would bet on anyone it would be phil he has the smarts and balls to make it...but with poker and the playing field this year (6000 i believe) its anyones game gl on the play

It's definitely not something I would wager any sizeable amount on, but with the odds as high as they are, it will be a nice payoff if it wins.

With all the guys on the internet qualifying for te tournament and 6600 entries, who the hell knows what's going to happen?

Mule I was down at the Rio yesterday checking the WSOP out. What an awesome atmosphere it is! I didn't see Ivey but do have great respect for him (only because he is from Jersey though). NO just kidding they all same he is the Tiger Woods of poker. Lederer was there along with his sister Anne Duke. She had just got knocked out of one of the smaller tourneys while I was there. Unreal how much money is in that room!

I'm actually kind of glad I didn't win that play in tournament on party poker. I'm still a novice. I've only been playing poker since right before Christmas and those guys would eat my lunch. I would rather keep playing and get better and go in a couple of years.

Plus.....i'd hate to be hobbling around Vegas for a week on crutches.
