Guys i can tell you first hand that the Red Sox are scary, their lineup is not even fair, no Sanchez or Offerman it is tough top to bottom and granted they have not played the best teams but still have scored 4,9,7,14, and 8 runs in their first 5 games and have a loaded bench. If they get their bullpen together they will be very, very tough to beat. They had pictures today in the Boston Herald of the new seats over the Green Monster, i think it was 250 seats at $50 each and 100 standing room tickets up there for $20 each and they are already sold out for the year.........A great park gets better, wait until you see this on T.V. it is awesome with what they say will be the most coveted ticket in all of Baseball ......Sitting where so many famous homers have been hit and each seat is a barstool with a back that swivels around to look around Boston, can you imagine a home run that is hit into stands instead of a net on top of the Monster? I'm going to wait until next year and grab some the minute they go on sale and you guys are seriously going to be amazed with these seats when you watch a game.:D

It's about only seating 33,000 people, that's why they are trying to find room for more seats and have even added them between first and third by putting a couple more rows out toward the field. Since they seat so few and have the 6th highest payroll you are kind of stuck jumping up the ticket price to make up the difference but even at that average price it is impossible to get a decent seat for a game......They are the hottest ticket in Boston along with the Patriots who sell out every game too.

been there three times! i'm torn between fenway and wrigley as to which is the best place! both are 1mil x better than these horse shit domes! was at miller park yesterday sitting in the "loge" or 2nd level (of 4 total) Bonds smokes a homer on a frozen rope and I couldn't even hear the crack of the bat!!! i was happy w/ the dome b/c i was freezing my ass off in the parking lot drinking beer before the game but as far as summer days are concerned give me wrigley or fenway anytime! hot chicks in bikini tops never hurts either:D

I think the Difference might be that a red sox fan gets to see a team that wins 85-90 or more every year and a cubs fan has not had much more than the atmosphere to cheer about. The sox never win it all either but we are in contention every year and you know that you are not just going to the Park to see the Park cause the team is pretty good too. I do love the Cubs this year and they have always been my favorite NL team probably because they except for being in the playoffs or winning have had alot in common with boston for 100 years, by far the 2 best parks in baseball.:D What do you think of sitting on the MONSTER???:D

that would be unreal! doesn't I-94 run right behind the monster? or I90? i don't remember but I was truly amazed to see how far away that citgo sign is! Is back by the pizziaria uno isn't it? i always thought it was right behind the Mon sta! I've sat off third base once and in right field twice. third base was much better! sitting above the monster would be a hell of a spot to shag a ball!

That citgo sign is a couple blocks away but alot of people think it's possible to hit with a homer but it is not possible. I think it is Yawkey way with the famous cask n' flagon bar all behind the wall with 95 running behind that.......should be an AMAZING seat.
