Rook Sports
Off a nice 4-1 night last night, it's back to work. Today's card is
just as strong, and one off of it is:
Cubs/Yankees over 9.5 (-109)---All trends point the other way. I know
this. Wang has been good at home, and Rusch has just been brillant as
a fill in starter for the Cubs. You saw the Cubs bullpen get smoked
last night, and it should hold true today as well. Last 5 games for
Rusch he has gone over the 100 pitch mark...which to some might not
make a bit of difference, but he's not a starter anymore! I don't
think he makes it past the 6th inning, which means more bullpen for
the Cubs. On the other side, Wang for the Yankees has been fairly
consistant, but won't shut anyone out. He's given up less then 3 runs
only twice in seven starts.
Cubs bats will continue to roll...Yankees bats will continue to
roll....I think we have an old fashioned shootout.
