Goldvike-I agree with you for for the most part wholeheartedly.
On the other hand there are a select few which are honest, hardworking, etc. and try to differentiate themselves from the lying and deceitful scum like Feiner, Joh nny Demarco, Jack Price aka Corey Black and many more.
I myself try to post the comps from the honest ones and sometimes from the rotten ones also with commentary in order to let people know some of the lies which the aforementioned are giving out on their comp. lines.
The main point is that you, Chuck, Wayne and so many others provide such great picks daily that there is no need to pay anyone EVER!

        Hi, Steelers2006!
I'm new to this myself. I've only been betting baseball a couple of years, now. Like you, I started out curious about the services.
I was wanting to learn to handicap baseball so I kept an eye on them just to see what games they were looking at and if I could determine why they liked those games.
But, miracle of miracles, I found Bettors Chat!
If you visit this site daily, and read what's available, you'll learn so fast you won't believe it!!!!
If you want to handicap your own games, the first thing you should do is get used to studying Spark's Trends thread daily!!!! I check the matchups, injuries, weather, etc. then go straight to Spark's Trends. The info Spark and GR8Life are putting up in that thread is absolutely invaluable!
If you don't want to handicap them yourself, these guys are among the best. There are a lot of very good ones that participate in this thread!
        Chuck Lazar (Chuck E. Cheese)
        Spark
        GoldVike
EZ Winners (has been struggling but he is great and it will not last!)
3 Wise Men (struggling a bit but they are great and it won't last!)
        Wayne1218
There are many other very good ones, too! I would suggest that you save your money and follow one or two of these guys.
Welcome to the forum and the best of luck to you!

agree services suck.you've heard enough about them.
baseball- when betting totals, never bet more than 5.5:5
teams-try to find a sports book w/ a nickel line i.e. 105/100. most have a wider range as favs cost more e.g. 180:100, but dog will bring back 100:160 not 170.
teams- try to find dogs or small favs. All the big favs will look good e.g. st.louis, nyy, bosox, pedro etc. but you will lose $ in the long grind on these. they win 2 of 3, but often you lose $. this will also steer you to playing less games where the vig won't grind you down.
$ mgmt is as important as picking winners. i never bet more than 5% of my bankroll on any game (even LOCKS...lol). avg. about 2% per bet. What's that? you don't know your bankroll size? Lesson #1
This is the best site i've found. i've been betting for 25 years.

WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T COMBINE CAPPERS TO MAKE YOUR PLAYS I DID THAT A LONG TIME AGO AND I ACTUALLY HAD A KNACK FOR PICKING THE OTHER CAPPERS LOSERS. bUT IF YOU FOLLOW ONE IN PARTICULAR THEN THE CHANCES ARE ALOT BETTER TO LEAVE HERE ON THE PLUS SIDE OF THINGS.
TO BET OR NOT TO BET THAT IS THE QUESTION
