Game 4 Thoughts

This is a very tough game tonight. Pistons came out and played as if their backs were against the wall the other night. They wanted that game more than the Spurs (that is how it works in the NBA playoffs).

The 2-3-2 home games hurt the Pistons a bit, so this is another desperation game for Detroit.

I think the Spurs are the better team and still win the series. However game 4 is another story. 3' seems to be a lot of points but I think this game tonight is a war. Unlike some other teams in the playoffs, these teams play great D when they are at their best. Two of the first 3 games have gone over the total.

I think the Pistons win tonight but I am not sure of laying the 3'. However, I am playing the under tonight as this will be a physical defensive game.

Under 172 is my play.

here are my thoughs on the game.


I'm playing the spurs. Here is why. I feel that this series is all about what the avg. joe is being lead to believe is the play. What do i mean by this?? What i mean is many people felt in game 1 the pistons could stay within the 6.5 # posted. Then the spurs beat them. Game 2 the public was like ok pistons need to win game 2. Again the smart play was on Spurs in game 2. Then i game 3 the pistons were somehow 4.5 pt favs after getting waxed in games 1,2. Everyone and their mother would bet the spurs getting 4pts. What happens pistons win going away. Now onto tonights game. The pistons basically blew the doors off the spurs in game 3 and now they are a small 3.5 fav. To me this shows that the side the oddsmakers want you on is the PISTONS. Seriously who wouldnt play the pistons laying 3.5 at home when they just rolled the spurs and mano is questionable?? I say Fuck that. The smart play is the spurs +3.5. I have no stats to back this up. I dont follow ATS,treads and all that in Finals. So if your looking at it that way this post is moot. I try and break the games down game by game looking to figure out which way the oddsmakers want you to play then play the other side. It doesnt always work but so far I'm 3-0. It could be dumb luck but either way I'm riding this til i find something better
