    If you are looking for a nice payday this could be your ticket. The Astros are finally playing good baseball and have crawled our the NL Central cellar. Houston goes for the sweep today against the Blue Jays and may have trouble finding it.
    The strong RH Oswalt, is just 9-15 (-17.5 Units) against the money line vs. poor power teams - averaging 0.9 or less HR's/game since 1997. (Astros Record)
    Toronto's J. Towers walks very few batters, which helps him to stay out of big innings. The Blue Jays pen has produced a very solid 3.71 road ERA and has converted 81.8% of its save opportunities as a visitor.
    With Toronto 10-4 against the money line as a road underdog of +125 to +175 this season take a strong look at the last remaining team north of the border, down in Texas today.

        Game: Baltimore Orioles at Cincinnati Reds Jun 12 2005 1:15PM

        Prediction: Baltimore Orioles

        Reason: Ponson comes off back to back solid starts for the Orioles. Baltimore won each of those games (both on the road) as Ponson gave up just 2 earned runs over 12 2/3 innings. Ponson has been roughed up under the lights as he has an ERA above 6 at night. However, he's been solid during the day having averaged 7.5 innings over his four daytime starts and posting a 3.30 ERA. Opponents have hit 3.42 against him at night but just 2.43 during the day. Reds' starter Ortiz could only manage 5 outs in his last start, giving up 6 earned runs in 1 2/3 innings against lowly Tampa Bay. Ortiz has a high ERA above 6 for the season. He's been particularly poor during the day, going 0-2 with an 8.31 ERA in three daytime starts.
        Let's back Ponson and the Orioles, who are 19-10 (+10.2) on the road, to bounce back from yesterday's ugly loss.

          Reason: Zito is 2-7 this season and the A's are 3-10 in games he's started. The A's are 9-24 on the road. Ramirez is coming off a good start and the Braves have won 3 of his last 4 home starts. Atlanta has won 3 of the last 4 meetings with Oakland. Play on the Braves -.

            Reason: The Twins Brad Radke is in awesome KW form with 13 strikeouts and 0 walks in his last 3 starts. In fact Radke has 53 strikeouts and just 3 walks on the year!               u7.0 *OPINION* John Lackey the Angels starting hurler today has been a very stable force in the Ha-los pitching rotation this season. The right hander is unbeaten in his L/5 starts and has allowed only 12 ERAs for 3.17 ERA in his L/ 34 innings of work. Lackey is sup-ported by a stingy bullpen that owns a 3.44 overall ERA on the season. His pitching opponent and former Cy Young award winner from the NY Mets (Pedro Martinez) continues to be dominating and is coming off a 2 hit complete game performance his last time out. The work horse superstar has garnered a miniscule 0.72 ERA in his L/ 25 innings of work. Bottom line: Considering Shea is a pitcher friendly park I expect these two extremely capable throwers to do what they do best and help keep this game on the low side of the number.
