If ya know what a 'yout' is then ya know what an 'unpire' is. My cousin Vinny knows the whole language.

Nice three team parlay. For nice payout hit last night on the over KC-Angels and Phils. This is just as simple. TB under-Texas-Chi WS. Lay a little to win big. 100- to win 468. A solid bet and little risk. Good luck
and Wayne - Don't be dissin' on my man Chung here- he is getting over his language problems slowly but even KMann notices his improvement.

So are you playing on the UNDER for all three of those games?

No Didn't mean to confuse- Texas and White Sox are ML plays. It is just a parlay I do with a top over and under play that I like. Atl- SF- LA Dodgers- Detroit are also good choices. Just my simple parlay off the totals which I have won nicely on recently. I believe totals are as solid a bet as sides when given the right stats to look at. I also lean toward St. Louis over, Detroit over and KC over. Played them but was holding back to see how they do. Most of these are also plays of members here at BC- I coattail more than cap. I have also learned that what looks like a sure thing has a bad record in my book so I get a feeling on what plays seem a better percentage risk as I see it- and work with it.

Plays for day unless Larryonion has any to add.

                    Adding Fl-Texas over 8 as a 5. Odds are now at 9 I believe.
                    TB over as a 5.

                    Why
In the Texas game we have Marsh umpiring - His last two games were unders and the majority of others of rest are overs or push.
                    Past games umpired:
                    04/04 Kansas City(J Lima) Detroit(J Bonderman) 9 O 13 6 20
                    04/09 Chicago Sox(J Garland) Minnesota(B Radke) 9.5 O 13 1 22
                    04/13 Washington(T Ohka) Atlanta(J Thomson) 9 O 15 14 21
                    04/18 St Louis(M Mulder) Pittsburgh(D Williams) 9 O 12 9 15
                    04/22 Baltimore(D Cabrera) Toronto(J Towers) 10.5 O 18 10 22
                    04/26 Seattle(J Pineiro) Texas(R Drese) 10.5 O 11 7 23
                    04/30 Los Angels Angels(K Escobar) Minnesota(B Radke) 9 U 6 4 18
                    05/11 New York Mets(V Zambrano) Chicago Cubs(M Prior) 7 P 7 11 11
                    05/15 Baltimore(E Bedard) Chicago Sox(J Contreras) 8.5 U 8 6 16
                    05/20 Oakland(J Blanton) San Francisco(K Rueter) 9 O 12 12 21
                    05/24 San Diego(A Eaton) Arizona(R Ortiz) 9 O 14 10 30
                    05/28 Kansas City(R Jensen) Los Angels Angels(K Escobar) 8.5 O 15 10 22
                    06/01 Toronto(G Chacin) Seattle(G Meche) 8 U 3 6 16
                    06/06 New York Yanks(R Johnson) Milwaukee(D Davis) 7.5 U 7 9 13
He is 9-4-1 in overs and it looks like a spot for the over today. Al Leiter - 6.45 ERA I believe -will not be able to withstand the Texas bats - Great play on Texas as well. Hope the game is played- 70 percent rain.
As pitchers go-Rogers is 2-0 with a 4.50 ERA in two career starts against the Marlins.
Texas is 39-20 with the total of 8-8.5. Fl is slightly over on the same. Good Luck

In an attempt to understand "unpire" I searched on the search engine and was blanketed by ten pages of unpire. Theres an unpire even with Smoltz so unpire is not so uncommon as we might think. How can ya have a vampire without teeth? I can't get that one out of my head. Sounds like a good time on a saturday night to me. Moondog.

It might be interesting to note - I have noticed umpires with the smaller strike zones and more runs (over) predominantly with teams that have played at low run baseball parks like the Marlins today and the same on overs type ballparks. This maybe due to a win-win situation where one streak may end. It also lends to more interesting matchups for MLB (and Vegas!). The key for me is seeing what the pitchers have done lately, the batting has done lately, how the teams have fared recently on over/under and how the umpire calls a game (over/under) based on record.
