  • Kaptains "TRIVIA" for Friday

Lets go the the Great controversial Pete Rose Sr....we all know about his accomplishments on the field, and his problems with BaseBall as a whole...

Pete has many records in BaseBall...heres the trivia for you...

Pete Rose's last(career) at bat was a strike out...Now who was the pitcher that struck him out...

Question is---Who was the pitcher that struck out Pete Rose Sr in his last official (career) at bat...

no multiple choices---you guys are too good....

No internet help---no reference books or almanacs---nut it up and go for it....

    I'll throw a clue/s in a while if need be.......kapt

I think I remember it against the Padres and it was the Goose.
Not sure of the pitcher but it was against SD.

Do this one without Net/Almanac help

You guys are too good...The Kaptain is bringing out the guns...Play this one right---no assistance--just each other discussing it--and if someone gets 1 of the three, and someone else gets another, I'll let you know as they are guessed...OK you Sports Gurus---lets GO...

The Famous UTP---unassisted triple play---was performed 3 times in MLB...now you geniuises who were the players to do them...

Question is---Name the 3 players to perform the UTP (unassisted triple play) in MLB....good luck on this one...Honor system fellows...do it without aid from reference books, or internet...

PS---great job RJ and CMA on the last one...kapt

I'll give someone a hint for another one.

He played for the BoSox and in that game A-Rod was making his big league debut!!!!!
