Looks like you guys need another clue- before the thread winds into another direction if the Kapt doesn't mind and I now eliminate myself- even though I got Koufax first. Keep in mind that I am not positive of this answer but I believe its this pitcher.

He's a quirky lefthander. Why else would he keep books on metaphysics in his locker, burn scented candles in his hotel rooms and admit to sleeping on a fuchsia pillow?
