I agree i mean look at nascar. The only non sponsor thing they have on the car is its #. Soon it will be like why bother calling the team by the city or its given nickname. Bank1 tried doing this with the chicago bears. They wanted the naming rights to the bears. Its totally stupid and pointless. Its kinda like stadiums. The names of the stadiums are so lame. And to top it off they constently change ie. PacBell Park is now SBC park or whatever. Fuckin lame. That park has been open what 5yrs max and its gone thru 2 name changes already??? give me a break

I agree! I believe teams will change their nicknames to the sponsor name. The Detroit Tigers will become the Detroit Fords, Orlando Magic will becomre Orlando Disney Magic.
