OAKLAND (SAARLOOS P) Toronto (Towers)
Oakland has won three straight scoring double-digits in each of their last two and face a pitcher in a situation we love to fade. Josh Towers got off to a nice start, much better than he’s capable of but has come back to his level. Now it’s time to fade.
He’s given up 12 runs in 10 1/3 IP. He’s given up 21 hits in that span. Tonto has lost 4-of-6.NCAAF 6 - 5 (+5.35units)

**Toronto -105 over OAKLAND (10:05 EST)
The Toronto Blue Jays are playing the fourth of a thirteen game road swing, making a stop in Oakland for a four-game set with the A's. The Jays are off a 3-0 loss in the finale at Seattle and are 2-1 in the first three of this grueling trip. They look to right the ship with Josh Towers (5-3 4.14 ERA) on the hill. Towers will need to be at his best, off consecutive losses, and I expect him to bounce back from the two losses. Towers flat-out throws strikes and is 3-1 on the road with a decent 3.58 ERA. He won an earlier battle with A's marking four straight wins against Oakland. The A's are a horrid 7-19 last twenty-six on the diamond Oakland but they come in off a series sweep of D'Rays outscoring Tampa 26-7. The bad news for A's is that Kirk Saarloos (1-4 4.74 ERA) gets the ball. Saarloos is 0-2 vs Jays surrendering 10 earned in 7.1 innings of work. Look for Jays and Towers to bounce back vs Oakland. Two stars on Toronto.

THURSDAY'S COMP SELECTION
Although Toronto's Josh Towers has lost two straight starts, I’m still reminded of how well he pitched with five quality starts this season, and this was with virtually no run support.
Towers has found a knack for keeping the Jays in ball games, despite tying the recently demoted David Bush for the team's lowest run support, with only 4.8 runs per game.
Meanwhile, the Athletics are a far cry from a team that can string together consecutive offensive bursts, so I suspect Towers will keep this team off-balance, while Oakland starter Kirk Saarloos continues to struggle.
Saarloos gave up 10 hits and four earned runs over five innings in a nasty loss to the Indians his last time out, and he hasn't won since Oakland's second game of the season nearly two months ago.
Saarloos has had a hard time pitching deep into games, managing to get through six innings just twice in 11 starts this season.
Take Toronto as your comp pick.
