This is really sad and disgusting and i for one think a 14 year old should not be posting here. Hell, there are threads here he really shouldn't even be looking at. STaylor where's the Role model in Big Brother???
I can't agree more, Wayne!! I'd kick my son in the ass if he ever went on a site like this before he was 18!! He's now 29, and alot smarter not to gamble, cause he's bad at it!

On the other hand, once in a while when I need a winner, I ask my 10 year old daughter who she likes in a certain game, and more times than not(more times than me-thats for sure), she is right;on the other hand she doesn't ask afterwards who won, etc. and goes by the sound of the name, usually the nickname-obviously this is not very scientific but it has sure helped me out in the relatively rare instances when I rely on her "judgment."

Does she have a bookie or internet account? Probably not. I think you might be missing the point here.

Wayne-of course I am deliberately missing the point here, and I do agree with what has been said;my comments probably was a "little" off topic.
Now excuse me as I have to go ask her about who she likes between San Antonio Spurs and the Phoenix Suns tonight, as I can't make up my mind.

Haha, I appreciate the comments, I know they are all well meaning, but it really does make me laugh.

I think you guys are forgetting how into sports you all were when you were 14, about to be 15. He knows a lot more than I think you're giving him credit for. Can he cap? Probably not. In fact, no I doubt that he can. But he does know a ton about sports.

I've been betting regularly since I was about 16 or so. I have taken big losses sure ($500 on that fuckin Duke-UConn game that still eats away at me) but I have never been in any real trouble. I don't bet money I don't have. It's just a recreational activity for me, and I won't let him get into any trouble either.

And for the record I advised him to BE the bookie. But he doesn't listen to me. What am I supposed to do?

Well just because I am 14 does not mean I am an amatuer and does not mean that I am going to grow up to be a fucked my degenerate gambler. I am going to be the richest mofo in the world.....
Everyone thinks they know everything at 14 Staylor but i wasn't going around talking like this and my ASS would have been kicked if i was gambling at 14. You can flip a coin and hit 5 in a row but at 14 there is NO WAY he knows that much. It's IMPOSSIBLE without all of life's experience in growing up!

              He's in the wrong forum

Give him this link and tell him to go there and please stay out of here.

Sh*t, I'd meet him for a beer but he's not old enough. Ha, Ha, Ha.

I'm still around, thanks guys for getting me out of the hole.
I am off in 10 days and will have the time to try and return
                the favor.
Hey kid, I'm no one to talk, just be careful these guys are telling it the way it is. I went from parents bailing me out to friends to my wife. Trust me, when the wife bails you out it's
                bad.

Listen guys I am sorry for my bad language and I will refrain from any bad language, but if it is ok with you guys I would like to stay active here.

I am just another guy on the site trying to talk about sports with some other smart guys

This actually makes me laugh when you say stuff directed at my bro, he is away at college and we talk all day everyday and he knows that I am not useless when it comes to sports and one other thing he knows is that I have no gambling account online and that the biggest wager I have made in my life was to a friend of mine for 30 bucks (USC to win the title, free money!!!) I do not bet on the games I post I just want to talk about sports I am not doing anything wrong. I make 90 percent of my posts during my cpu class like my bro said and the only time I ever do it at home is when someone is talking about me
