The Braves are 6-2 this season in games that Hampton has started. Washington has scored just 7 total runs in their last three games. They've won two fo them - barely. They have shown very little power offensively this year (only 38 home runs and under 4 runs per game including 3.3 runs per game vs. lefties). Washington is 10-37 after scoring and allowing 3 runs or less over the last 2 seasons. Over the last three seasons, the Nats are 5-17 in games that come after they have scored four runs or less. They'll have a tough time with Mr. Hampton tonight (1.96 ERA). He has been revitalized his career in Atlanta, finding the form that made him one of the top pitchers in the game in the late nineties.
