Pepperdine (-7 ½) 72 BRADLEY 62
While Bradley will most likely be better than last year’s 9-20 disappointment under new coach and former Braves’ star Jim Les, it will be tough for them to take on a loaded Pepperdine team that returns 4 starters and 5 of their top 6 scorers from last year’s 22-9 team. The Waves are 11-3 ATS as a road favorite of more than 2 points, so a letdown is not likely, and they qualify in a 21-5 ATS opening game angle. My ratings favor Pepperdine by only 6 ½ points and Bradley does have some possible upside in my ratings, so I will pass on this game as a Best Bet. However, the good situation will have me leaning with Pepperdine.
