3 Wise Men Report Friday 5/27/05
Notes of Interest:
1) Yesterday we violated one of our hard and fast guidelines in playing Florida on the Run Line and laying –150. Frank and I discussed the play in the early afternoon and we decided it was worthwhile and reasonable as a 1* … until last night when we heard they played The No–Try. In looking back it was an irresponsible act on my part and I’ll take the heat. We seem inflexible and stubborn sometimes with our method and to a great extent we are . We have our reasons. And That was one of them. Maybe records are made to be broken but our rules aren't.
2) Also one of our own ( a good guy just like everyone in our camp ) came in yesterday and wanted to know our opinion as to the Boston / Toronto game because Boston was a POD in another thread. I explained that our plays are posted early so you all know they are our very own and not influenced in any way by any other capper or consensus thread. Toronto ML and RL was our call and no way in hell we’ll ever change that play or any other for that matter. We may add on plays based on our findings but you'll never see us saying …. So and so is on such and such and we’d better play that side. It just can’t and won’t happen. We wish all the fine cappers and the gentlemanly Chat Members well all the time but let’s face it … we all have our own agenda going on and so we tend to mind our own business and root for our sides only.
3) We hit the 3 team parlay last night … go figure … after the big Schpiel I gave you all two nights ago it was bound to happen. Right?
