When I hedge I do so to win back my original wager amount plus a small profit. I'll always hedge for my original bet to win more than the hedge bet.

As an example I had Detroit to win their series with Indy in 6 games at +405 for 1 unit

In game 6 I took Indy +180 for 1 unit.

I always hedge to win either way . Guarantee a pay day ...

In this case tonight ( and it's a long shot ) SF on the money line as a hedge ... if they win by 1 run we have a nice score.

Gotta wait as close to 10:00 PM EST to send it in ... if we are looking good with the first 3 games ... then pull the trigger.

Let's say tonight I have 100 on the 4 teamer to win 475 . First 3 looking good ... I'd probably put 200 on SF -120

If LA wins the GSP hits SF loses. ... +475 -240 = +235

If SF wins the GSP loses .... +200 -100 = +100

IF SF wins by 1 run ... +475 +200 = +675

I know many would let it ride if the first 3 are looking good ... I take a more practical view.

PS I see Milwaukee is throwing Colorado a beating .... we can sure use a few of their excess runs tonight for Freddy Garcia and The White Sox lol
