wayne, if your bookie doesn't offer a -1 runline, then you just place 2 equal bets on the ML and RL which simulate this bet.. For example, I could lay 170 to win 100 on the Cubs ML today and 100 to win 130 on the RL. So if the Cubs win by 1 run, then I win 100 from the ML bet and lose my 100 from the RL bet, so it's a push and I'm really just laying 270 to win 230 on the -1 runline. Hope that makes sense.
