The reason the total was high to begin with is Miami. They average 103 at home and went over 100 in 5 of the last 6 games. The public is in love with Shaq and his boys so the books started the total a bit high. I see now it is down to 178.5...

I think we all had it right... Anyway, that's the beauty of taking the under in this series. Despite the over 50% shooting for 3 quarters and two high scoring quarters, there's always going to be the chance for a 30 point quarter when the Pistons play. The under will always be in play.

It's funny. I'm the complete opposite. I hate taking OVERS. It's agonizing watching teams slow the pace or the end of the game when the hold the ball.

Frank...the thing with unders is you gotta agonize the "whole" game to see the final. The over could go over with 5-6mins or more left in the game. I like going over much more than betting the under. However, the under has been great in the Piston--Pacer series & I expect more in this series.

That's what most Total players say. Most players like playing OVERS. For a large part I disagree.

First most games finish close within the total. So Over and Under players are agonizing. There's time when I played the UNDER and 5 minutes into the 2nd half I knew it was in the bag. There's also time when I bet the OVER. At half time it looked like an easy win only to lose.

All that being said. I don't agonize. Especally with basketball. I don't watch. I check the scores after the game.
