    Today's Pick: TEXAS RANGERS
    MLB
    Houston vs. Texas
    2:05 EST

I know Roy Oswalt is light years ahead of Chan Ho Park in terms of pitching ability, but how do you ignore Houston’s 2-18 record on the road and coming off an 18-3 embarrassment? Texas hit eight home runs on Saturday and recently supported Park with a 16-run effort at Oakland. To make matters worse for the Astros, Lance Barksdale is the scheduled home plate umpire. The home team is 6-1 this year with Barksdale calling balls and strikes. Although I can’t give Park too much of the credit, the Rangers are 5-0 since April 23rd with him including victories against the Yankees and Red Sox. Here’s the bottom line: Houston has scored three runs or less in 11/14 games. Texas has scored five runs or more in eight consecutive Park starts. 2-18 on the road and coming off an 18-3 defeat. How pumped are the Astros for this daytime affair in Arlington? Take the Rangers -102

winning points - won 6 of last 7

TEXAS (Park) -110 over HOUSTON (Oswalt)

Last night's 18-3 trashing marks another low point
for the anemic Astros, who saw their road record fall
to an almost unbelievable 2-18 (-$1640). Their run
production in those games is pitiful (average of only
2.6 per game). Under the circumstances, why not ride
along with a hard hitting Texas team that averages over
5.4 runs per game and checks in with a 20-13 (+$865)
record against righthanders. Roy Oswalt continues to be
overvalued, so we'll only laying a very short price on the
home team. And despite a high ERA, the Rangers have
won 6 of Chan Ho Park's 8 starts so far (+$525).

All Star Sports comp. is Toronto.
Feiner's comp. is for you to call his 800 number and get all his picks "ABSOLUTELY FREE";in actuality if you are dumb enough to do that, you will get nothing but someone answering the phone asking you for YOUR number so that he can call you back;you know the rest of the story and it ain't pretty;in actuality Stu will be getting your phone number for FREE and you nothing in return except a lot of hassle.
Anyways, the real freeplay is from his website and is CHICAGO White Sox.

                    ***BEST BET
San Antonio over Phoenix* by 10
Not enough time for Phoenix to get on plane,
get back home, regroup, rejuvenate. They left
it on the floor in Dallas Friday night and
go back out just a day-and-a-half later to play
a much better defensive team which, given the
circumstances, figures to be better physically,
                    emotionally, and strategically prepared.
                    SAN ANTONIO, 105-95.

anyone have spec K's big (20*) NBA play? thanks

                          NBA - 3:30 ET
San Antonio Spurs at Phoenix Suns

                          Phoenix Suns -2.5
We like Phoenix at home in front of jacked up home crowd. San Antonio have not looked like same team of past since Duncan's ankle injury earlier in season (right ankle), especially on D. Now he hurt his right ankle in game six vs. Seattle. Spurs had problems with Seattle without two of Sonics best scorers in lineup (Lewis & Radmonovic). Suns should be able to control tempo in this game. Spurs don't match up well vs. Nash & Stoudemire who are playing at a high level. Suns have no answers for Duncan & Ginoboli, therefore, we think this will be a high scoring game. Difference in game will be Suns ability to hit the big shots at home in front of home crowd.

Game: Washington Nationals vs. Toronto Blue Jays
                                Game Time: 5/22/2005 1:05:00 PM
                                Prediction: Toronto Blue Jays
Reason: Towers is 4-0 his last four starts. He's averaged 7 innings a start over that strech and has a 1.30 ERA. Towers is also 2-0 with a 0.56 ERA in two career starts vs. the Expos/Nationals, giving up just 1 earned run over 16 innings. Okha, his opponent, has recently pitched out of the bullpen and has seen limited action this month. Look for Towers to outpitch Ohka as the Jays improve to 4-0 as home favorites of -125 to -150.
