i need to get a few free nights comped in sept.for my trip and the prices for the packages are thru the roof so i could use some help if anyone has that kind of clout out there.

seaman if you plan on doing some serious gambling-most of the bigname casinos will comp your food and room-the mirage is about as old as i am but they give great comps to players-if your not going to gamble that heavy-you can stay downtown or some of the spots for locals like the orleans very reasonable-i got a deal thru the net at the grand for 69 a night-they have a great new poker room-us poker players dont get many comps-im splitting a condo with a buddy for the world series-450 a week-not bad..the poker rate at the rio is like 140-im a little spoiled with the 50 a night stuff at the horseshoe at vegas and tunica-since binions been bought out they dont take care of poker players like they use too in tunica and we all know the tragedy story about the shoe in downtown vegas-what a great place it use to be-later dude..

the problem is that they will only comp YOUR room for you. I can't call out there and get 4 nights comped, and then you show up and say you're staying in my room. They comp me because they know I will play and have a lot of action.

The Palace Station has weekday rates of around 29.00 bucks or so...Since i live only a few blocks from the place, i go there on a daily basis and their sportsbook is pretty decent...A guy named Mike is the sportsbook manager, and he may be able to help you out with a `casino` rate or something....visit the website ( www.stationcasinos.com) ....GL today

Sea just off the strip on Harman its up by the aladin a place
called Harbor Island rents little apartments for about 250 wk.
its right between the Hard Rock and the strip.Sun Harbor suites
is on Industrial 1 block off the strip for about the same price.
A few of the boxers work-out in their rec. area.

Dont listin to him... Harbor Island is full of crack heads.. I lived there for a short time. Crime is horrible in there... Go to the El Cortez.. its like 10 bucks a night there... Smells like a morgue* but atleast its cheap

if the rooms are through the roof stay off the strip at a place like palace station or sunset station. you can always cab it to the strip. orleans is another place, suncoast.

I know that Ex-Caliber is only $56 a night during the week. It's right on the strip. I would never stay off the strip. That's ghetto Unless your packing heat

dude check out green valey ranck if off the strip is ghetto. you will eat your words. trust me...i thought the same as you b4 moving here. all you need is a fucking bed and a/c. does not matter where u stay one bit. especially if dude is on a tight budget. san remo is a smaller casino near the mgm. personally i have never been but that might be an option for the tight budgets as well

well you guys have several ideas and i appreciate that,but as of last night i seen the air fares down about 200.00 so looks like i may go to the stardust.ive stayed at the palace station a lot of time and that is also an option.i guess in the long run i was looking for someone that really knows people in the casino workforce and could do something for me.i really wanted to stay at the las vegas hilton but the price from last year more than doubled to about 1,600 for the week and i dont need to spend that kind of cash to just sleep for a few hours a night but thanks guys and if anyone comes up with anything please let me know.
